We are Towers official Paranormal Group and were the first to swing open its heavy Oak doors to Paranormal research. It had stood silent for nearly 600 years. Halloween was our 3rd Investigation at Tower and what a night it turned out to be.
This huge Gothic and castellated building is a real Historical and architectural treasure.
It was a Medieval border fortification were in the 15th Century, The welsh lord who occupied the house captured as a prisoner the Mayor of a neighbouring town. He hung the mayor from a ceiling were he died a horrible death but the story does not end there for after soldiers from the Mayors town learnt of the deed they marched towards the house and stormed in, ready to put the owner to the sword. Unknown to them, he had fled into the nearby woods were with his army of welsh Troops, he lay in wait for them and upon entering the house, the Welsh barricaded the door on the outside and set fire to the place. The English soldiers trapped inside burnt to death. The fortified house later got restored and was once again occupied. It has been a private home ever since and has been extended in the 17th century and in later periods but the original Medieval fortification still lies at its heart. The very same building that claimed so many lives in such a horrific way.

We first learnt of this Mansion in an old book that we posses, written in the 19th century.
We will have access to most of the house including the vaulted banquet hall which still has to this very day an Iron staple and a hook embedded in the ceiling were the Mayor was hung .

On this next Investigation we will have access to extra parts of the house.
Our recent 3 Investigations here were amazing. People were pulled, The whole house was a giant cold spot, our locked off camera recorded some strange music and dragging sounds, Orbs were captured and all forms of Spirit communication yielded some amazing results. Our Mediums and Sensitive were overwhelmed by the number of Spirits present which included lots of children, previous owners, nurse maids, servants a dog and many many more. Our best ever EVP was recorded here of a little spirit girl humming, loud banging sounds, ghostly footsteps and so much more. Our Halloween night was the most dramatic of all and turned out to be a truly frightening night. One of our team actually became pocessed by the spirit of a witchfinder and one of our mediums slipped into a trance and channeled the spirit of a 15 year old prisoner.
A DVD will of course be provided as part of the package.

Whenever anyone ask us if there was ever a time when we were really afraid in a location, most of our group will answer Plas Newydd and with good reason.
Our First private Investigation here was unbelievably frightening.
The Spirit of lady Eleanor Butler resented us being in her home and made it known by filling the entire house with a feeling of hatred. The entire house was icy cold, far colder than outside.
The Spirit of Eleanor made contact with us during table tipping and what followed was a violent table tipping session that actually caused structural damage to the table. We also made contact with a little girl who danced the table around the room and encountered the Spirit of another previous owner. Things were being moved around and the strong smell of Cigar smoke permeated the air.
We have booked this 3rd Investigation here to give some of the many people we could not accomodate on our last investigation here due to the overwhelming interest we recieved.
We want everyone to have a chance at Investigating this Gem.
We have decided to bravely return here a third time.

Our Investigation of the 27th Feb was amazing and contained some of the most bizarre and amazing Table tipping ever experienced by anyone, with the table spinning on one leg and being thrown to the ground violently by the angry Spirit of Eleanor. We could all here someone walking across the ceiling on the floor above which was empty and closed off from us, people were touched, the house was frigidly cold, amazing Orbs were captured and so much more.

Plas Newydd was once home to Sarah Ponsonby and Lady Eleanor Butler who despite being lovers which was something frowned upon in those days, were admired and loved by much of society. Many famous people of their day visited them at Plas Newydd. Together both ladies turned a simple cottage into the lavish stately home we see today. Plas Newydd was very special to them and obviously still is today. Most Haunted had one of their best ever investigations here in 2008 and now its your turn to experience this remarkable location for yourself.
